After my party at school, we drove to the mall to meet my brother and ride the Pink Pig. Last time we tried, the ride had already closed for the day. I was very excited that we made it in time.

Tonight, my brother called and asked us to meet him and his girlfriend, Rachel at the mall. He wanted to take me on the Macy's Pink Pig ride and my mom wanted to do some shopping. The "Pink Pig" is so cute. This is the year of the Pig in China, so this being my first Christmas, made it extra special.

We were walking and I saw Santa from the balcony on the second floor. I got so excited and told my mom that I really wanted to see him this time. After all, this is my third time to try and get to know the jolly old elf! We stood in line again and I picked out the photo package I wanted. I got up to see him and I panicked again. Mom sat next to me and I felt better about it. Santa talked to me and I touched his glove and held his hand for a minute, but still wasn't too excited. He gave me a candy cane and I tried, but not for long. There was some clown behind the counter who started screaming, hitting the counter and shaking stuff at me to make me laugh, but I didn't think he was cute or funny, so I got out of there.

I just couldn't resist grabbing this cute little Santa ornament from the bin in the store and showing him to my mom. He looks like he is ready to go skiing.
