Yesterday I turned 22 months old and my teacher asked my Mom if I could move up to the 2 year old class even though I am not 2 yet. She said that I am much more advanced than the other kids in my class and am ready to move up now rather than wait. I'm not sure what that means, but my Mom was very happy!!

I hope you all had a great 4th of July! I celebrated with my family and
friends from Louisiana and really had a great time. We went to a parade
and saw hundreds of golf carts and got a lot of candy. Later we went to dinner
and had some awesome food with about 5 thousand other people.

I had a great time dancing to the music and watching the fireworks with my
Mom and Dad.
My Dad reminded my Mom that the Chinese invented the fireworks and my Mom said that I was "the best little firecraker ever!"

We visited the Georgia Aquarium, which is the biggest aguarium in the world.
My favorite exhibit was the Beluga whales. They were so beautiful and fun to
watch. They blew circles in the water and chased after them.

My brother and I had fun watching the fish through these huge
circular windows and I loved trying to climb around the window.

Last weekend, we traveled with some friends from Louisiana to Cooper River
near Charleston, S.C. They went diving in the river with alligators and very
dark, murky water to search for prehistoric bones and ancient pottery.

I stayed at the house of a friend and enjoyed swimming while they went diving. We all had a great time, swimming, shopping, eating out, and riding the horse and buggy through the streets of Charleston.
The historic district of old homes and buildings was very beautiful and we can't wait to go again soon.

I got to hold one of the giant shark's teeth. It was really big and so neat!

My cousin, Kelly, found this ear bone from a prehistoric whale.

This is a giant shark's tooth from a Megaladon over 50 million
years old. For every inch of length of tooth, the shark was about
10 feet in length. This tooth is about 7 inches long which indicates
the shark was about 70 feet long. Can you imagine that?
