Thanks to everyone for all of
their Blessings on my
Christening Day!!

One of my very SPECIAL TEACHERS, Ms. Diane, from school attended my Christening and gave me these adorable gifts. My big brother really liked the bib that says "I love my BIG Brother" on it. I wore it after the ceremony when we all went out for dinner together. I also got a cute little baby doll that says "Mama's Blessing" on it and an outfit with little ladybugs on it. I will soon be leaving her school and will miss her very much. Thank you so much "Ms. Diane" for all of the love, and TLC you have given me. I will always love you and will not forget you !! Don't forget that you promised me that we will go on walks together and keep in touch!

This is a picture of two very beautiful dolls that my Aunt Agatha and Uncle Bill brought back for me from Japan and gave me as Christening gifts. They recently went to visit my cousin, Kera, who is studying Japanese in Kyoto, Japan. These are very special gifts and I will always keep and treasure them. These dolls are from the Japanese Doll Festival, Hinamatsuri, or Girls' Day, which is held March 3, the third day of the third month. This is the day to pray for young girl's growth and happiness. One of them looks like it represents an Emperor and the other an Empress. They are truly BEAUTIFUL!!

This is a picture of the Christening gifts I received from my Godparents, "Aunt Ellen and Uncle David". I love them and am so glad they are my Godparents. They also have 2 little girls that they adopted from China. We plan on being friends forever! My silver cross will hang in my room, my Christening picture will go in the silver frame, and my first rosary will go in the silver rosary box. There is also a beautiful Baptism Blessing plaque to hang in my room and two wonderful books that my Mama reads to me at night. Thank you all so much for the beautiful gifts that I will cherish forever !!!

For this child I have prayed, and the Lord has granted me my petition...
therefore I also have given him to the Lord; as long as he lives, he shall belong to the Lord.

I Samuel 1:27 & 28

Today was my Christening Day!! A very special and important day in my life. This is a picture of me with my family and Reverend Anthony Cuomo who performed the Christening Ceremony. I was very frightened and cried when he anointed my head, but I was OK afterwards. After the ceremony, we all went out for dinner at the "Outback Steakhouse" and had a wonderful time together.

All of my family and friends could not attend because they live too far away, but we are thankful for all of the people who were able to attend and share in this special day.

THE GIFT OF LIFE

I DIDN'T GIVE YOU THE GIFT OF LIFE, BUT IN MY HEART I KNOW

THE LOVE I FEEL IS DEEP AND REAL, AS IF IT HAD BEEN SO.

FOR US TO HAVE EACH OTHER IS LIKE A DREAM COME TRUE!

NO, I DIDN'T GIVE YOU THE GIFT OF LIFE, LIFE GAVE ME THE GIFT OF YOU!

This is a drawing done by one of my brother's friends. It was copied from the photo taken of my brother and I taking a nap together in our hotel in Nanning, China after my adoption. I am holding my favorite shoe that I picked out at a shop at the Majestic Hotel. If I wasn't wearing my yellow shoes, I was holding onto them. I thought it was the prettiest pair of shoes I had ever seen and I was not going to loose them. As you can see, I have loved my big brother from the first time we met and he loves me. ( Janice, I love the picture you drew. )

I had the best Easter, I hope you all did too!! Posted by Picasa

My big brother gave me this little penguin named Mumbles. He is the cutest toy ever!! He sings and dances and he is teaching me how to dance. He talks to me when I talk to him, his cute little blue eyes blink as his little beak moves when he sings and his little wings flap up and down when he dances. I really love him!! Posted by Picasa
My family gave me this cute card with a loveable little bunny. Posted by Picasa
My Aunt Pat and Uncle Ronnie sent me these books for my 1st Easter. One of them plays the music for the song "Here Comes Peter Cottontail!" I read it over and over and over again and I love to dance to the music.  Posted by Picasa
