Saturday, December 30, 2006, two of Matt's friends, Ashley and Erin, came over to meet his new little sister and spoil her with gifts. I think they are now calling themselves Katherine's "Aunts". He was so proud, very excited and happy to have his special friends share in welcoming his little sister home. Posted by Picasa
On Saturday, December 30, 2006, Katherine got to meet her Aunt Agatha, Uncle Bill and cousin Jamie Perello for the first time. As you can tell from the pictures, Katherine had a great time.

We arrived home on the night of December 29, 2006 and Katherine enjoyed her first meal in her very on high chair. (This was Matt's high chair when he was a baby) Yep, I save everything :) Posted by Picasa
Katherine on the long plane ride home. She was really good considering the trip was almost 20 hours long. As soon as her feet touched American ground in Detroit, she became an American Citizen. We all cheered as she took her first steps in the airport.

Cindy Wu, our wonderful guide with Katherine and Joe inside the Buddist Temple gates. Cindy was with us 24 hours a day for the entire trip and truly loved each and every child in our group. She is an amazing person and we will never forget her. Posted by Picasa
Christmas Day -Of course, Daddy could not resist buying Katherine her first set of pearls. He had two beautiful pearl bracelets made for her at the Pearl Market in Guangzhou. She had fun trying on the bracelets and watching the ladies string her pearls.
